Program Introduction
Description
The Coffee Science Certificate® (CSC) is the industry’s first and only training program aimed at providing a greater technical understanding of overall coffee science. The program which extends across a wide range of disciplines is focused primarily on the science and chemistry of coffee from ‘bean to cup’.
The CSC program is composed of three levels of certification (CSC-1, CSC-2, CSC-3). Candidates who have successfully completed all three levels of certification become an official Certified Coffee Scientist™.

Dr. Maya Zuniga on Cold Brew Chemistry & Food Safety
Here's a video by Dr. Maya Zuniga that highlights some of the research (@9:45min) we did for their Product Innovation team at S&D coffee. It's a great video for those wanting to learn more about cold brew and factors related to food safety.
During the same event in Atlanta, GA resident coffee scientist Joseph Rivera presented his finding on Cold Brew chemistry to a maxed room of attendees.
For those who missed the presentation, we'll be presenting a condensed version of the study during our upcoming Coffee Science Certificate (CSC) seminar in Los Angeles on June 28-29th.
